Implementation
New Business Central deployments scoped around how your business actually works: chart of accounts, dimensions, posting groups, master data and go-live planning.
Business Boxed Limited implements and supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central end to end: functional consultancy, cost-effective implementations, AL development, integration with your e-commerce, courier, EDI, payment and reporting tools, migrations from Sage, Xero, GP and NAV, Copilot and AI agents, and fractional CIO and CTO services. As a small boutique consultancy we put senior people on every project, with no account management layer and lower costs than the large partners.
Our home is the UK, but our work is not limited by it. Because Business Central runs in the cloud, we deliver projects remotely for customers and partners across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, and come on site in the UK when it matters. Multi-company, multi-currency and multi-country localisations are everyday work for us.
We have delivered Business Central for companies in the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, manufacturing, warehousing, retail, construction, transportation and mining sectors. Each has its own compliance, stock and costing demands that standard finance software cannot meet.
Whether you are moving to Business Central for the first time, replacing an ageing NAV system, or trying to get more out of what you already have, we cover the full lifecycle.

Move to Business Central from Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Dynamics GP, or upgrade from Dynamics NAV and older on-premises releases, with legacy customisations re-engineered as proper extensions.
Bespoke functionality written in AL to Microsoft standards: per-tenant extensions, AppSource-ready apps, event subscribers, custom pages, reports and APIs.
Connect Business Central to the rest of your stack: e-commerce platforms, couriers, EDI, payment providers, warehouse scanners and Power Platform, using standard APIs, custom APIs or web services.
Custom RDLC and Word layouts, analysis views and Power BI dashboards fed directly from Business Central, so the numbers people need are where they expect to find them.
Ongoing help for live systems: user support, release upgrades, performance tuning and a steady programme of small improvements that add up. We also offer a one-off Business Central health check for the price of one day's consultancy.
Role based training for finance, sales, purchasing and warehouse teams, delivered on your own data, on site or remotely. Includes train the trainer sessions, quick reference guides and refresher training after each release wave.
Senior technology leadership on a part time or retained basis: IT strategy, systems roadmap, vendor and partner management, security and governance, and board level reporting, without a full time hire. Contact us for more details.
A few days a month of experienced, hands on leadership: setting the systems strategy around Business Central and Microsoft 365, owning the roadmap and budget, managing partners and suppliers, and giving the board a straight view of risk and progress. Contact us for more details.
A review of your configuration, extensions, performance, security and upgrade readiness, with a written report of findings and recommended fixes in priority order. Available for a one-off fee equivalent to one day of consultancy.
Contact us for pricingAn independent review of your extensions against Microsoft best practice and upgrade compatibility: coding standards, AppSource and per-tenant rules, deprecated objects and events, performance patterns and readiness for the next release wave. You receive a report with each issue, its risk and how to fix it.

We never modify the base application. Every customisation is a versioned AL extension with its own source control and test codeunits, so Microsoft's twice-yearly releases stop being a risk.
Business Central replaces disconnected spreadsheets and bolt-ons with a single Microsoft-hosted ERP that your team already knows how to use, because it looks and feels like Microsoft 365.
We configure, extend and support every core area of Business Central, from finance through to manufacturing, projects and service, so you are not passed between specialists as your requirements grow.
EZBC is our YouTube channel: short, easy to follow videos on the functional and technical features of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and how it works with the rest of Microsoft 365. New videos are added regularly.
Subscribe to EZBC on YouTubeBusiness Central now ships with Copilot built in and a growing set of autonomous agents that handle routine work end to end. We help you switch them on safely, measure what they save, and build your own agents and Copilot extensions in AL where the standard ones stop.
Copilot chat, analysis assist, bank reconciliation assist, e-document matching and marketing text, enabled, governed and rolled out to the people who will use them, with Responsible AI settings reviewed.
Microsoft's Sales Order Agent turns inbound customer emails into quotes and orders; the Payables Agent captures and registers supplier invoices. We configure them, define the approval points and track the hours they give back.
Custom Copilot capabilities and agents built with the Business Central AI toolkit and Azure OpenAI, such as pricing suggestions, demand forecasts and document classification, plus Power Automate and Copilot Studio flows around them.
Most of our new customers arrive from an accounting package they have outgrown, or from a Microsoft product that is reaching the end of its road. We have a tested migration path for each, so you keep your history, your opening balances reconcile on day one and your team is working in Business Central within weeks, not months.
Every migration goes through the Sure Step phases described below, with a full rehearsal before the live cut-over.

For businesses that need real stock control, multi-company or project accounting. We use Microsoft's QuickBooks migration tooling and our own Xero extraction, reconnect your bank feeds and carry MTD VAT over.
Microsoft has set an end date for Dynamics GP support, and Business Central is its designated successor. We use Microsoft's cloud migration tool for GP, re-implement customisations as extensions, and bring Dexterity-era processes into the modern web client.
C/AL to AL conversion, legacy customisations re-engineered as extensions, and a move to Business Central online or the latest on-premises release.
Business Central is licensed per named user, per month, on an annual subscription. There are four licence types and the right mix depends on what each person actually does. We are not a licence reseller ourselves. We partner with established Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers who supply the licences, which means our advice on what to buy is independent of what we sell. We help you choose the right mix, set the licences up in your tenant, and review them at each renewal so you are not paying for seats nobody uses.
The full user licence for most businesses. Finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, projects, fixed assets, relationship management and human resources.

Business Boxed Limited (bbxd.net) is an independent UK consultancy that works with customers worldwide and focuses entirely on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its NAV heritage. We combine hands-on functional consultancy with in-house AL development, so the people who design your solution are the same people who build and support it. Being small is deliberate. There are no layers of account management and no junior bench time on your invoice, which keeps our implementation and ongoing costs well below those of the larger partners.
We have worked with companies in the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, manufacturing, warehousing, retail, construction, transportation and mining sectors, typically businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and entry-level accounting software. We also work with other partners who need extra Business Central development capacity.
