Tip 11: Analysis mode: pivot any list without leaving the page

Every list page has a pivot table hidden behind one button. Group, filter, total and chart without exporting.

On a list (customer ledger entries, item ledger entries, sales lines, G/L entries), click Analyse (the icon next to the search box, or the Analysis toggle). The page becomes a grid: drag columns into row groups and column groups, pick which numeric columns to total, filter on the fly, and switch to a chart. Save it as an analysis tab with a name, and it is there next time.

Typical uses: sales by customer by month from Sales Invoice Lines; stock value by location and category from Item Ledger Entries; overheads by department by month from G/L Entries. It replaces most "export to Excel to make a pivot" and it is live. Analysis tabs can be shared with other users through a link.
