Want to try a setup change or a batch job without risking the live company? Copy it.
Tell Me: Companies → select the company → Copy. Give the copy a name ("UK TEST"). It takes a few minutes and you have an exact duplicate, data and setup, in the same environment. Try the change, run the batch, see what happens, delete the copy. Better still, do it in a sandbox (tip 48), so there is no chance of posting in the copy by mistake and no production storage used. Set a different company badge colour on the copy so it is obvious.
